Dynamo Illness: Crohn's Disease and Arthritis
The magician's health took a turn last summer and here's what he had to say about his Crohn's disease, Arthritis and how he might change the way he performs magic.
In summer he ended up in hospital due to food poisoning saying - "I got a bad bout of food poisoning, it landed me in hospital and put me out of action. It caused a lot of side effects but I'm not letting it hold me back. I've been getting out as much as possible."
The magician from Bradford continued to explain that he's also been battling Crohn's disease (which he's had from 14 years old) and the weight gain has come from having to take ongoing steroid medication.
Dynamo: "I think it's made me more handsome that before - it's definitely had a toll on my body. I've put on two stone which is quite strange. One of the main impacts for me is that it's given me arthritis - being a magician, I'm not able to use my hands."
Continuing: "I'm working with physiological and a doctor to get the right treatment and medication so hopefully, I can come back and do new magic. I've taken this time to evaluate my approach to magic and other parts of life."
