Astrology is something which is known and studied all around the world, even being considered as an important way to interpret different situations starting way back in the second millennium BCE. 

Modern-day astrology is now mainly associated with horoscopes (as seen in magazines) and being able to see a persons' personality whilst predicting significant happenings and events in their lives.
