The Queen Misses New Year Church Service
But is "feeling better" despite some media reports….
The Queen has missed the New Year's Church Service at Sandringham as she is "still recuperating" from a heavy cold which has seen her disappear from the public eye for a number of weeks.
Both The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh suffered with heavy colds, cancelling plans and taking the helicopter to Sandringham, a day later than originally planned instead of travelling by train as a precautionary measure and to allow the both of them to recover.
Since then, the Duke of Edinburgh has recovered from his cold whilst The Queen is still recuperating hence missing the New Year's Church Service today.
