Eiffel Tower Bulletproof Glass Wall
The iconic Eiffel Tower could be receiving a security upgrade…
Over the past couple of weeks we've been hearing rumours about security changes surrounding the Eiffel Tower however it looks like things are about to change for the Parisian landscape.
To protect against the threat of terrorism in the city, there are now plans in place to build a permanent security barrier around the Eiffel Tower.
There are temporary fences in place which were introduced in 2012 for the Euro 2012 tournament but now, Paris will be upgrading this to bulletproof glass walls which will surround the Eiffel Tower.
According to reports, the bulletproof wall will cover the most iconic tower and the two ponds on either side of it.
