With the iPhone 7 being one of the most popular phones on the market, let's take a look at some of the rumours surrounding the iPhone 8 launch meaning we won't be seeing the "S" version anytime soon….. according to reports.
The internet has gone, a little crazy let's say with the iPhone 8 rumours and whilst it's only been a few months since the launch of the much-loved iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, people are already wondering what the next phone will be.
According to reports, Apple will skip the "S" with the next launch apparently being the iPhone 8 and here's what people should look forward to….
- Wireless Charging
Could we see wireless charging being the key? More often than not, things like this should remain as we know it as there are concerns surrounding this due to overheating….
- 5.8 Inch OLED screen
- Double Lens Camera
As found on the current iPhone 7 Plus model.
- Home Button Built In
Edge to edge screen meaning it's smoother.
- Stainless Steel Sides & Glass Back
The glass back could put people off however most of us now use a screen protector and case.
- New Sense Technology
This could be face/gesture/eye recognition, Apple always improves the security on their products.
These are just some of the rumoured upgrades we've also heard that Apple will be launching 3 versions.
A premium version, a 'plus' version and a budget version allowing more people to have the option of which model they choose.
As we've mentioned above, these are all rumours and nothing has been confirmed - the image at the top has been designed by a fan showing their concept of what the new phone could look like.
If we do see a launch for the iPhone 8 then it will more than likely be around September.
