Rod Stewart Mimicking Beheading On Social Media
See the details below.
Rod Stewart is facing a backlash for mimicking a beheading on social media - the singer who's 72 years old was filmed with the video being posted on his wife's (Penny Lancaster) Instagram page.
After performing in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, Rod Stewart can be seen with friends - one of which who he forces to kneel in front of him, holding his hair and making a cutting motion across his throat - in a mock execution video.

Once the footage was posted online, it was then quickly removed with him releasing a statement to say - "Understandably, this has been misinterpreted and I send my deepest apologies to those who have been offended."
Continuing that he was "larking about with friends" and that this was actually a scene from "Game Of Thrones."
No matter where the inspiration came from, things like this shouldn't be mimicked or laughed about as 'jokes' with friends - this behaviour is appalling!
