Kate Middleton Cuts Her Hair For Children's Cancer Charity
The Dutchess has reportedly donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust
Kate Middleton is known for her long, brunette hair so many were shocked to see her sporting a new shoulder-length cut however - it's all for a good cause.
A royal source spoke to he media, saying that a few months ago, her hairdresser (Joey Wheeler) thought of the idea to do something good with her hair - rather than throwing it away. According to media reports, it's believed that Kate Middleton's hair was donated to the Little Princess Trust which is a charity making wigs for children who have lost their hair through illnesses - including cancer.
The source which spoke to the media said - "the hair was sent using someone else's name, the trust didn't know that it was from a royal source - they just thought that it was someone from the Kensington area."
Since the news, the Little Princess Trust said - "It's a complete surprise. Obviously we are all delighted that she donated her hair and we're just grateful to everyone who chooses to support the charity in this way. It's such a selfless way to act to donate your hair and to help a sick child or a young adult."
Through the Little Princess Trust - people are donating their hair for a good cause in the hope to make a persons day brighter and better.
